Principles

This website is deliberately lean: it sets no cookies, loads no third-party fonts or scripts, and embeds external media (YouTube, SoundCloud) only after you explicitly click. Personal data is processed only as far as necessary to operate the website or to answer your enquiry.

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit the site, the server automatically processes information transmitted by your browser (server log files): IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This is technically necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The hosting provider deletes or anonymises log files after a short period. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.

Contacting me

If you contact me by email or via the contact form, your details (name, email address, message) are processed solely to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual enquiries) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in replying). Form messages are forwarded to me by email and are not stored on the web server. Your data is deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Embedded media: YouTube and SoundCloud

Videos and audio are embedded using a privacy-friendly two-click method. A connection to the provider's servers is only established once you click “Play video” or “Load player”. Your IP address and information about the page visited are then transmitted, and the provider may set cookies.

• YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) – embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Consent applies to the current page view only.

Fonts

The fonts used on this website (Fraunces, Lato) are hosted locally. No connection to Google or other font providers is made.

External links

Links to other websites (e.g. theatres or festivals) are clearly marked. You only leave this website when you click them; the operator of the linked site is responsible for its data processing.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
